I’ve been inside you for all of our lives.
I’ve worked ceaselessly to keep you going.
I’ve ensured all the parts are working in symphony.
I’ve inspired you, shared your joys, your griefs, your anger and all of your experiences.
I’ve often wondered what it would be like.
To exist on my own.
Even for a little while.
And then one day, you let me out.
You bathed me in healing waters.
Cleansed me.
I now feel purified, refreshed.
I am ready to serve you again.
Thank you.
