In case of carbon disulphide the bond formation involves the overlapping of the electrons from the 2p-subshell of carbon and 3p-subshell of Sulphur.

The lone pairs in case of Sulphur will be 2 . As there are 4 unpaired electrons as shown below.

And the hybridization of this will be sp³ hybrid
