The Vulcanisation.

The natural rubber is not so strong, and it can not be used gloves, tyers or conveyer belts.

To make the natural rubber strong, it is heated with Sulphur or its compounds. By doing so we get a crosslinked compound that is having high strength. This process is known as vulcanisation.

The Sulphur joins the chains with each other by acting as bridges.

This vulcanisation leads to the formation of tyres.
