How the eye accommodates  to light ?

In our day to day life we face various exposure to light. The intensity of rays vary from source to source some are intense and some are very low.

Here i am going to share about the working of Iris of eye.

Iris is basically like the shutter of cameras, it adjusts the entry of light in the eye. See in the following picture.

Here in this picture it is clear that the inner dark circle is quite wide, which allows more light to enter in the eye to make a clear image on ratina.

Now when the intensity of light is more, the iris tends to decrease its size and allows very less light to pass through it.

Thus controlling the intensity of light.
