To all the men
Who work till day’s end
They get up early
Leave the home, never been lazy
To keep the family cozy
No holiday
No excuse
The burden of responsibilities
Makes the shoulder more strong
Legs are ment to move, hold and strengthen
Feet are the roots
That nourish the family
May be the stomach
Not demanding much
The eyes notices not only watch
The measurements
The expenditures
Are never calculated
The values are set
Set in the brain
Feelings, emotions are only in loneliness
The tears are prohibited in open
But they also weep in dark.
Yes they are the men of steel
Those who sacrifice for family and can feel.
Well-written and a deserved tribute to men who work to support their families. β€ Maybe you could write a similar poem for all the Wonder Women out there. π All the best! Cheryl
