Error is the difference between calculated value and theoretical value.
It is very difficult to totally eliminate the errors, but we can minimize them.
The errors depend upon the person which is handling the apparatus and also upon the precision of the instrument.
(I) Types of Errors on the basis of nature of errors.
1. Systematic Errors :- The errors that deviate from the theoretical value either positively or negatively.
2. Random Errors:- The irregular errors that occur due to sudden change in temperature, wind, humidity and pressure.
3. Least Count Errors:- This type of error occurs due to less resolution of instrument.
(II) Type of error on the basis of mathematical calculations.
1. Absolute Error
2. Mean Absolute Error
3. Relative Error
