Boiling of water doesn’t change its chemical composition and there isn’t any formation of new substance with totally different properties.

So boiling of water is a physical change.

  1. Does this apply to sea water Ankush ? Because if we boil sea water we get salt consisting of chemical properties ! am I right sir ?

    1. That also will be a physical change , as it will separate the salt and water. The sea water is a mixture of salt and water, by evaporating water we will get salt. So the chemical properties remain same . 🙂

      1. Thank you Ankush sir for clarifying 🤝🙏

    2. I am really thankful for your kind attention
